Tripureshwor Mahadev Temple is located near Kalmochan on the banks of the Bagmati river, it was built in the 19th century by the Queen Lalit Tripura Sundari Devi. The temple is considered as the largest temple in Kathmandu.  It has three roofs, the upper two are crafted with metals, while the bottom one is baked terracotta. In the courtyard of the temple, one can find various idols like Shree Indra, Shree Bramha, Shree Ishan, Shree Chandeshwor, and Shree kuber. Devotees visit this temple especially in the month of Shrawan. We would recommend you to visit this beautiful temple located at the heart of Kathmandu valley.
