Tilje Peak Climbing

Tilje (TILJ) is a climbing peak in the Peri mountain range of Nashong municipality of Manang district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6530m and can be located at latitude 28.7102 longitude 84.3953. The summit of Tilje Peak offers stunning views of mount Hulang Go 6687m, Himlung East 6932m, Gyaji Khang 7074m, Cheo Himal 6820m, Pama Himal 6300m, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.

The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

The trail passes from Besishahar, Nadi Bajar, Ghermu, Tal, Dharapani, Bagarchhap, Thanchok, Koto, Meta, and to the base camp of Tilje Peak, this route is 75.9 Km and the climbing route is 13.2 Km.
