What if I get ill while trekking?
It depends on your illness. If altitude sickness you have to sit or lie down. And if you still feel sick, keep warm until you get medical help. You’ll be carried down with no more progress. We also advise our travelers to take a personal kit too.
If the case is serious then you’ll need a helicopter rescue. Our guide will suggest you use it if it is very serious.
Does a guide or porter carry an oxygen tank during this trek?
Guides or porters do not carry an oxygen tank since there is enough time to acclimatize while trekking. But if someone feels the affects of altitude then there are facilities along the trek at various points and is easy to get it.
Congratulation!
