On November 22, 2014, at Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, the first ever archery center in Nepal,’ The Best Archery’ was born. With the aim of attracting visitors and exciting archery interest in students over 10 years of age, Mr. Basnet and his partner Oyngel Gurung are confident that this disciplined sport will soon be a huge trend among the inhabitants of the valley.
Although the company is not explosively rising over the past two years, the gradual interest shown by people in this sport is satisfactory. With the full support of the Nepal Archery Association, Basnet assures that in the coming days, Nepali archers will certainly bring home some medals from international grounds.
Archery is a sport that’s hard to master. However, a practitioner learns to calm his mind in the process, focus and create firm postures of the body that are really useful in any other field. Archery is also a single-person sport, no less beneficial than meditation, so that anyone can enjoy the sport freely and individually. However, there is a lack of recreational centers capable of supporting archery.
Congratulation!
