Thapa Peak / Dhampus Peak /Marpha Peak (THAP) is a climbing peak in the Dhaulagiri mountain range of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu municipality of Mustnag district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6012m and can be located at latitude 28.7981 longitude 83.6119. The summit of Thapa Peak offers stunning views of Dhaulagiri I 8167 m, Dhaulagiri II 7751 m, Dhaulagiri III 7715 m, Dhaulagiri IV 7661m, Dhaulagiri V 7618m , Dhaulagiri VI 7268m, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
