Sikles Trek

Sikles is one of the most beautiful villages of the Gurung community located in the northeast of Pokhara. The village was established as a trekking village by the ACA project and is considered as an internal part of their eco-route. Located at about 2000m elevation under the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal, Sikles is considered as the second largest village of the Gurung community in Nepal. The trek to Sikles gives you the opportunity to explore the traditional Gurung culture, local life, majestic views of the Himalayas, and purity of green forest. One can also see avalanches thundering down off the mountainsides in the month of December and January. You can also enjoy the folk songs and dances performed by the locals of the village during the trek. We would recommend you to visit this beautiful trekking destination in a village exploring different communities, cultures, food, and local people if you are planning to visit Nepal.
