Salbachum (SHAL) is a climbing peak in the Langtang mountain range of Gosai Kunda municipality of Rasuwa district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6707m and can be located at latitude 28.2717 longitude 85.6344. The summit of Salbachum Peak offers stunning views of mount Thakmarpo Ri 6185m, Yubra Himal 6048m, Pangri Goldumba 6620m, Langtang Ri 7205m, Langtang Lirung 7227m, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.
The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
