Rara National Park Featured

Rara National Park is Nepal’s smallest national park in the Mugu and Jumla districts of the Himalayan region. Rara National Park is planned not only for the preservation of the Rara River, but also for the conservation of biodiversity and socio-economic development. The park’s rare and endangered wildlife species are black Himalayan bears, red panda, musk deer, Assamese monkey, Leopard cat , grey wolf etc. Protected Areas (PAs) have played an important role in the tourism industry, including national parks.
