Peak 38 (Shanti Shikhar) Peak (SHAN) is a climbing peak in the Mahalangur mountain range of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu municipality of Solukhumbu district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7591m and can be located at latitude 27.9553 longitude 86.9675. The summit of Peak 38 offers stunning views of Mahalangur himal, Cho Oyu, Changtse, Lhotse and more.
The Region
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

There is one trail you can follow to summit Peak 38. The trail passes from Lukla, Jorsalle, Namche, Khumjung, Pangboche, Dingboche, and to the base camp of Peak 38, this route is 39.1Km and the climbing route is 12.3Km.
