Pangbuk Ri Peak (PANR) is a climbing peak in the Rolwaling mountain range of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu municipality of Solukhumbu district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6716m and can be located at latitude 28.0053 longitude 86.5222. The summit of Pangbuk Ri Peak offers stunning views of Rolwaling himal , Pang Punch, Panpoche, Mahalangur himal, Chhule, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
Pangbuk Ri Peak climbing expedition is 35 days challenging adventure trip. The expedition starts from Kathmandu where you will make essential backpacking and preparation. Your guide will brief you with the necessary trip details.
There are two trails you can follow to summit Pangbuk Ri Peak. The first trail passes from Lukla, Jorsalle, Namche, Thame, Chhule, and to the base camp of Pangbuk Ri Peak, this route is 39Km and the climbing route is 12.4Km.
The second trail passes from Charikot, Dolakha, Singati Bajar, Gongar, Simigaun, Beding, NagaunThame, Chhule, and to the base camp of Pangbuk Ri Peak, this route is 103.5Km and the climbing route is 12.4Km.
