New Sunflower Nursery started in 1993 as a small backyard project of its founding father Mr. Narayan Bhakta Maharjan. Gardening supervisor at The Everest Hotel, his extensive experience and passion in gardening and growing collection of plants (which his little home could no longer accommodate) led him to open up his “little garden” for flower enthusiasts of the neighborhood. Little did he know that the backyard project would soon lead him to quit his job and become a full-time floriculturist.
