Naulekh Peak Climbing

Naulekh (NAUL) is a climbing peak in the Mahalangur mountain range of Mahakulung municipality of Solukhumbu district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6240m and can be located at latitude 27.6869 longitude 86.9047. The summit of Naulekh offers stunning views of mount Ama Dablam 6812m, Mera Peak 6476m, Thamserku 6623m, Kangtega 6782m, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.

The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

Trails

The trail you can follow to summit Naulekh passes from Lukla, Tashing Ongma, Osila Kharka, Thangnak, Mera La to the base camp of Naulekh, this route is 29.8Km and the climbing route is 6.1Km.
