Nagpai Gosum I Peak Climbing

Nagpai Gosum I (NAG1) is a climbing peak in the Mahalangur mountain range of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu municipality of Solukhumbu/NC district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7312m and can be located at latitude 28.0706 longitude 86.6378. The summit of Nagpai Gosum I offers stunning views of mount Ama Dabalm 6812m, Mera Peak 6476, Nuptse 7861m, Thamserku 6623m, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.

The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

The trail you can follow to summit Nagpai Gosum I passes from Lukla, Jorsalle, Namche, Thame, Thokchambo to the base camp of Nagpai Gosum I, this route is 40.2Km and the climbing route is 18Km.
