Muktinath Tour

Muktinath Temple is a religious temple that is respected and worshipped by both Hindu and Buddhist religions. The Hindu believes Lord Vishnu received salvation from the curse of Brinda who is the wife of Jalandhar. Thus, he is worshipped as Muktinath(God of salvation). The holy shrine is one of eight such shrines which is said to have arisen on its own which include Srirangam, Sri Mushnam, Tirupati, Naimisaranyam, Thottadri, Pushkaram, and Badrinath. The pagoda styled Muktinath Temple is also one of the shrines in Vaishnava. The Hindu consecrated a Vishnu temple here in the early 19th century and called it Muktinath-Lord of Liberation.
