Mechung restaurant opened 40 years ago and is still serving one of the best Tibetean cuisines in Kathmandu. It is located in Boudha and is not so hard to find. This place is mostly known for it’s momos but it also serves quite delicious authentic Tibetean dishes such as Dry Buff Thukpa, Twice Cooked Pork, Pork Ribs and red chilly. Boudha has been known for it’s Tibetean cuisines and Mechung can be called as one of it’s proud providers. Mechung claims that most of the items in their restaurant are homemade so that they don’t want to compromise on the quality of food they provide.
