Mayung Thang Khang (MAYT) is a climbing peak in the Kanti mountain range of Mugu Makarmarong municipality of Mugu district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6449m and can be located at latitude 29.7693 longitude 82.7299. The summit of Mayung Thang Khang Peak offers stunning views of mount Takla Khang 6276m, Kanti East 6516m, Kanti Himal 6850m, Kaptang 5965, Kogi Khang North 6275m, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.
The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
