Manaslu Circuit Trekking

Traverse through scenic valleys via high Larke-La mountain Pass

An adventure around the remote location of Manaslu Himalayan region of Gorkha district, Mid-West Nepal Manaslu Circuit Trekking was first opened for tourists in 1992, requiring a special permit for the restricted areas due to the close border with the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. As a designated conservation area, the region’s main highlight is its biodiversity, varying landscapes, climate, and towering mountain peaks.

The name Manaslu refers to the “soul of the mountain” as Manas means soul in Sanskrit, whereas the local name “Kutang” originated in Tibetan meaning “land of paradise”.
