Lumba Sumba (LUSM) is a climbing peak in the Kanchenjunga mountain range of Solukhumbu/Taplejung district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 5740m and can be located at latitude 27.4236 longitude 87.3831. The summit of Lumba Sumba Peak offers stunning views of Loshar I 6842m, Loshar II 6803m, Langpo Peak 6965m, Langchung Khang 6786m, Khambachen East 7784m and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
