The Seti River is another classic Nepali River coming from the Himalaya, winding its way through forested canyons and twisted rock and sandstone formations. This river travels through Magar villages from where the famous Gurkha soldiers hail. It is a very gentle ride with great scenery, a great family trip.
While the river rages in the monsoon, for the rest of the year it’s a friendly safe and fun rafting trip. It’s a fantastic rafting trip for first timers, families and those who don’t have so much time. The river is easy but still provides some good thrills with its rapids. It is said to be the warmest river in Nepal. The Seti River is one of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in the Himalayas. With dense remote jungle, exquisite sandy beaches and class II – III whitewater runs, perfect for beginner kayakers, and its sure to get you addicted.
One of the best rivers for beginner kayakers, or people looking for a more gentle ride. We use this river on the second part of 7 day beginners kayak clinic. The warm water offers a great learning environment.
