Khopra Trekking

Khopra Trek is a newly opened route in the Annapurna region with majestic views of the Himalayas throughout the journey. You can experience the stunning views of Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna (I, II, III), Hiunchuli, and Macchapuchhre. This trek offers you the best experience of visiting rural villages, meet local people, eat local foods, explore varieties of cultures and tradition with a lifetime experience. The journey to Khopra trek starts from the Pokhara, city of lakes, and the best tourist destination of Nepal. You can reach Ghandruk from Pokhara in a Jeep, Bus, or Taxi. From this point, your trek to Khopra will start. The trail will be mostly an uphill walk through the thick forest of rhododendron oak and pine. Throughout the trek, you can experience the panoramic views of the Himalayas and the sparkling water of rivers. The major attraction of the trek is the Khayar Lake, the most popular lakes of the Annapurna Region, located at an altitude of 4665m. Then the trek will continue up to Ghorepani through Bayeli Kharka and Tadapani and hike to Poonhill. The trek is very short and easy so, you don’t need any past experiences to enjoy this trek. ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu (Four world heritage sights)

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus 7 hours drive.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapool and trek to Tikhedunga (1500m) 4 hours trek

Day 05: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2800m) 7 horus trek.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Swanta (2400m) 4 hours trek.

Day 07: Swata to Dhankharka (3000m) 4 to 5 hours trek.

Day 08: Dhankharka to Khopra Danda (3660m) 4 hours trek

Day 09: Khopra Danda to Khayer Lake (4600m) and back (A day hike)

Day 10: Khopra Danda to Dobato (3425m) 7 hours trek

Day 11: Dobato to Ghandruk (2000m) 6 hours trek.

Day 12: Ghandruk to Nayapul trek and drive to Pokhara.

Day 13: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus 7 hours.

Day 14: Final Departure to International Airport.
