Another route is via Prithvi Highway which is 170.4km and will take approximately 5 hours 56 minutes to reach there. The best time to visit Chitwan National Park is from October to March. The entry fee for Chitwan National Park is US $11.53 (Rs 750) per person with 13% VAT.

After having a glorious tour in Chitwan, we move towards Pokhara. Pokhara is 86.3 km from Chitwan and will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach there. The popular landmarks that we visit in Pokhara are Sarangkot, Davis falls, Shiva Cave, Mahendra cave, phewa Lake (largest lake in Nepal), Bindhyabashini temple (located at the center of Phewa Lake), International Mountain Museum (IMM). Some major sporty activities done are boating, skating and cycling. The best time to visit Pokhara is from September to November, which is also known as the Tourist season. At this time, weather is pleasing and skies tend to be clear.
