Jomsom Himal (JOMS) is a climbing peak in the Damodar mountain range of Nar Phu municipality of Darchula district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6581m and can be located at latitude 28.8408 longitude 84.1558. The summit of Jomsom Himal Peak offers stunning views of mount Jijang 6111m, Hongde 6556m, Ghyun Himal I 6099m, Kang Kuru 6355m, Khumjung 6759m, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.
The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

There are two trails you can follow to summit Jomsom Himal Peak. The first trail passes from Besisahar, Koto, Meta, Naar, Jomsom Khola, and to the base camp of Jomsom Himal Peak, this route is 99.7 Km and the climbing route is 13.3 Km.
The second trail passes from Jomsom, Kagbeni, Chhusang, Ghami, Charang, Tange, Teri la pass to the base camp of Jomsom Himal Peak, this route is 76.2 Km and the climbing route is 31 Km.
