Island Peak or Imja Tse meaning island in the sea of ice is a 6160m tall climbing peak in the Sagarmatha national park of Nepal. This is among the most preferred technical climbing peak for starters as it is easy and near mount Everest 8849m. Even 1 person can do a private trip to summit the Island peak. Island Peak Climbing 13 Days Itinerary

  1. Kathmandu to Lukla by flight and continue trek to Phakding 2610m
  2. Phakding to Namche Bazar 3340m
  3. Namche Bazar to Pangboche 3985m
  4. Pangboche to Chukhung 4730m
  5. Hike to Chukhung Ri 5546m
  6. Chukhung to Island Peak base camp 5100m
  7. Rest and acclimatization
  8. Base camp to High camp 5600m
  9. High camp to summit 6160m, and back to Chukhung
  10. Chukung to Pangboche
  11. Pangboche to Namche Bazar
  12. Namche Bazar  to Lukla
  13. Lukla to Kathmandu 1400m 

If you can skip 2 acclimatization days, you can even complete this package in 11 days.
