You can start this trekking from both ways either Melamchi Bazar about 60 Km or by Sundarijal 26 Km from Kathmandu. Located northeast of Kathmandu, it extends from north of Taramarang to the tree limit of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower slopes of Jugal Himal. There we meet several highland Tamang and Sherpa villages, scattered on both sides of the Melamchi Khola.

Here the mountain-scape is spectacular. On either side of the valley, mountains rise, soaring into the sky. The valley offers pine forest, slow-moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy downs, and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primulas. In the upper part of the valley, there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lakes with icebergs coating on them and waters of crystalline brightness. This trek is comparatively easier one due to the fact that the elevations are lower, ranging between 800m and 3600m, offering less climbing as well as warmer temperatures.

The cost for the overall trekking for one person is USD $800. Discount will be considered for more than two person.
Refund policy: Money will be refunded in only cases where the trekking site is closed, or the trek site is blocked by natural disasters like landslides. The money will not be refunded after the trek has started or you want to stop trekking due to your personal reasons.
Deposits: The total deposit of at least USD500 per person by the trekker should be done. All deposits shall be directly paid to Ktmguide at least 1 month before the event is scheduled.
Cancelation Policy: If you want to cancel your participation, please write to us as early as possible. If the cancelation is made before 30 days of the event, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If the cancelation is made after full payment and event is confirmed, only 50% of the total paid amount will be refunded.
Disclaimer: In case of cancelation of the event due to unavoidable circumstances like weather and authorities involved, a notice will be published before 30 days of the event. In case of such cancelation, a full refund will be made or offset the amount against any of our upcoming skydiving packages.
