Gyala Peak (GYLA) is a climbing peak in the Manaslu mountain range of Chum Nubri
municipality of Gorkha district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 5973m and can be located at latitude 28.735 longitude 84.5741.The summit of Gyala Peak offers stunning views of mount Manaslu 8163m, Mansiri Himal, Chio Himal, Himlung peak, Ganesh Himal, and more.
The Region
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

There is one trail you can follow to summit Gyala Peak. The trail passes from Dhadingbesi, Palpa Bhanjyang, Chandanthok, Majhgaun, Arughat, Jagat, Philim, Bihi, Namrung, Samagaun, Samdo, and to the base camp of Gyala Peak, this route is 135.9Km and the climbing route is 14.9Km.
