Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

Ghorepani Poonhill trek is 4 days trek in the Annapurna Mountain range in Nepal with the majestic views of the Himalayas at a range of 3210 meters. The trek is for those with a short time to experience the beauty of the Himalayas. This is the most visited trekking destination of Nepal. The snow-capped mountains will follow you throughout the journey with dense green forest and pure sparkling waterfall and rivers on the way. The best season for the trek is during the month of August to September. The tour starts from the Pokhara, city of lakes and a very famous tourist destination. From Pokhara you can get a taxi, Jeep or Bus to reach Nayapul and begin the Ghorepani Poonhill trek. The trek will be mostly uphill walking along a gravel road and the trail runs through the scattered Gurung settlements along the Modi river to Tikhedhunga. From there you will trek up to Ghorepani via Ulleri through beautiful Rhododendron and Oak forest. After getting Ghorepani you will trek on an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m).  Stunning views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal can be witnessed from the Poonhill. Since it is a very short and easy trek into the Annapurna range, you don’t need any previous trekking experience. Throughout the trek, you will enjoy the beautiful culture and local food of Ghandruk village, witness the best Sunrise and Himalayas view from Poonhill and have the best short trip of your life. Day 01: Kathmandu or Pokhara – Nayapul- Ulleri (1960m, 6-7 hours)

Day 02: Ulleri-Ghorepani (2874m, 5-6 hours)

Day 03: Ghorepani-Poonhill-Tadapani-Ghandruk (1939m, 7-8 hours)

Day 04: Ghandruk-Kimche-Nayapul-Pokhara or Kathmandu (4-5 hours)
