Ghanja La Chuli Peak Climbing

Ghanja La Chuli Peak (GHJA) is a climbing peak in the Jugal mountain range of Gosai Kunda/ Panch Pokhari Thangpal municipality of Rasuwa/Sindupalchok district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 5863m and can be located at latitude 28.1683 longitude 85.5514. The summit of Ghanja La Chuli Peak offers stunning views of mount Gaurishankar 7134m, Phurbi Chhyachu, mount Langtang, Dorje Lhakpa, Jugal himal and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

Trails

There is one trail you can follow to summit Ghanja La Chuli Peak. The trail passes from Dhunche, Syabrubeshi, Ghodatabela, Langtang, Kyanjing, Chungdi, and to the base camp of Ghanja La Chuli Peak, this route is 43.6Km and the climbing route is 7.1Km.
