Gangapurna West Peak Climbing

Gangapurna West Peak (GANW) is a climbing peak in the Annapurna mountain range of Nesyang municipality of kaski district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7140m and can be located at latitude 28.6011 longitude 83.9439. The summit of Gangapurna West Peak offers stunning views of mount Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m  and more.  

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.  

The Package

Gangapurna West  Peak climbing expedition is  45 days challenging adventure trip. The expedition starts from Kathmandu where you will make essential backpacking and preparation. Your guide will brief you with the necessary trip details.


 The trail passes from Chame, Manang, BC/Pokhara, ChumrungMBC and to the base camp of Gangapurna West Peak, this route is 35.5Km and the climbing route is 9.7Km.
