Ganesh I Peak Climbing

Ganesh I  Peak is a climbing peak in the Ganesh mountain range of Dharche municipality of Gorkha district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7429m and can be located at latitude 28.3917 longitude 85.1289. The summit of Ganesh I  Peak offers stunning views of mount Ganesh II 7118m, Ganesh III 7043m, Ganesh IV 7104m, Ganesh V 6770m , Ganesh VI 6908,  and more. 

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

 The trail passes from Macha Khola, Jagat, Ripchet, Kharka, Torogumba Kharka,  Genesh Himal and to the base camp of Ganesh I , this route is 98.3Km and the climbing route is 17.4Km.
