Dolma Khang Peak Climbing

Dolma Khang Peak (DOLM) is a climbing peak in the Rolwaling mountain range of Gaurishankar municipality of Dolakha district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6321m and can be located at latitude 27.9372 longitude 86.3503.The summit of Dolma Khang Peak offers stunning views of mount Gauri Shankar 7134m, Melungtse 7181m, Khatang peak, Kwangde peak, Numbur peak, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

Trails

There is one trail you can follow to summit Dolma Khang Peak. The first trail passes from Charikot, Dolakha, Singati, Gongar, Simigaun, Ramding and to the base camp of Dolma Khang Peak, this route is 55.6 Km and the climbing route is 4.1Km.
