Dogari Peak (DOGA) is a climbing peak in the Dhaulagiri mountain range of Kaike/Putha Uttarganga municipality of Dolpa district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6536m and can be located at latitude 28.7667 longitude 83.1003. The summit of Dogari Peak offers stunning views of mount Dhaulagiri I 8168m, mount Kumbhakarna , Dhampus peak, Pisang peak, Yala peak and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
Dogari Peak climbing expedition is 45 days challenging adventure trip. The expedition starts from Kathmandu where you will make essential backpacking and preparation. Your guide will brief you with the necessary trip details.
There are two trail you can follow to summit Dogari Peak. The first trail passes from Juphal, Suligadgaun, Dunai, Gumbagaun and to the base camp of Dogari Peak, this route is 38.4Km and the climbing route is 19.3Km.
The second trail passes from Burtibang, Pakhapani, Bobang, Phaliyaghar, Barahsthan, Syalpakha, Phagumi Pass and to the base camp of Dhogari Peak, this route is 38Km and the climbing route is 20Km.
