Devghat Dham

Devghat Dham is located at the tri center part of Tanahun, Nawalparasi, and Chitwan occupying an area of 54.35 sq kilometers with religious importance. At the bank of the temple, one can find a river called Saligram (The Saligram river is formed by the fusion of two big rivers Kaligandaki and Trishuli). As the temple is at the junction of Gandaki, Lumbini and Narayani zones, it is considered as the major attraction of Nepal. Devghat is home to various temples and caves dedicated to Hindu gods, goddesses, and saints including Goddess Sita’s cave. During the festival of Makar Sankranti, one can experience a huge amount of crowd. There will be a big Mela, the environment will be happening and religious at the same time. Many Hindu devotees visit this temple all over the world to worship the Gods and Goddesses. Pilgrims bathe in the river near the temple to worship Lord Visnu and become pure. The temple is one of the most famous religious sites of Nepal which has helped to uplift the tourism industry of Nepal with its religious importance.
