Dakshin Barahi Temple is located in Thimi, Bhaktapur. The temple is also called Shree Barahi or Kwachhe Dyo (क्वाछे द्यो ) in Newari language. Barahi is manifestation of goddess Kali in the form of Boar. The temple is located 200m south of Shankadhar Chwok in New Thimi. The temple premise spans over an area of 3 ropanis and houses main temple, vajan mandalis, shelters, cremation site, pond and a peepal tree.
