Churen Peak Climbing

Churen (CHRC) is a climbing peak in the Dhaulagiri mountain range of Chharka municipality of Dolpa/Myagdi district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7385m and can be located at latitude 28.7353 longitude 83.2202. The summit of Churen offers stunning views of mount Putha Hinchuli, Dogari Himal, Kanjiroba, Kanjeralwa, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.

The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

Trails

The trail you can follow to summit Churen passes from Beni, Kaseri, Darbang, Khabang, Tallo Jaljala, Dhungadhar Kharka, BC/Juphal, DunaiGumbagaun, Kakkotgaun to the base camp of Churen, this route is 75.8Km and the climbing route is 18.2Km.
