Cholatse Peak Climbing

Cholatse(CHOL) is a climbing peak in the Mahalangur mountain range of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu municipality of Sankhuwasabha district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 6711m and can be located at latitude 27.9194 longitude 86.9836. The summit of Cholatse offers stunning views of mount Ama Dablam 6812m, Mera Peak 6476m, Nuptse 7861m, Numbur, and more.

The Region

The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude.

The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.

The Package

Trails

The trail you can follow to summit Cholatse passes from Lukla, Jorsalle, Namche, Khumjung, Machherma, Nha, Thore to the base camp of Cholatse, this route is 36.5Km and the climbing route is 5.1Km.
