Bokta Peak Climbing

Bokta peak is situated at the Kanchenjunga Himalayan range. Bokta peak is at the height of 6143m and is open for climbing under the Nepal Mountaineering Association of Nepal. The main attraction of the Bokta peak is a panoramic view of Kanchenjunga, Jahnu, Dharma Peak and Nupchu. The permission for climbing Bokta Peak was first issued in 2002. Since the day it was open for the climbers, it has been a famous peak for climbing. The peak is less populated and it has a beautiful view of mountains of the eastern part. The Bokta Peak climbing asks for the high demand for experience for peak climbing because the climb of the summit is challenging with several sections. Bokta peak climbing is the best opportunity where we can experience the thrilling experience of peak climbing. We can also experience the lush valleys, breathtaking landscapes and the company of the locals who follows the Tibetan culture. The trail follows the snowy slope which is quite a verticle and vulnerability to rockfall. The trek also includes the joy of exploring the less beaten path and preserved natural wounder of the Kanchenjunga region which has the flourishing valleys, inspiring scenery and welcoming locals. The best season to visit the Bokta peak id from March to May and September to December.
