Ashapuri Mahadev Temple

आशापुरी महादेव मन्दिर भक्तपुर र काभ्रे जिल्लाको सिमानाभै बग्ने कभेरी खोला र नर्मदा खोलाको दोभानमा अवस्थित छ । यो मन्दिर ससाना पहाडका थुम्काहरु विच अतिनै मनोरमणिय स्थानमा छ। यो पुण्य भूमिमा त्रेता युग देखि योग ध्यान र साधना गरिदै आएको विश्वास गरिन्छ । यहाँ रहेको आशापुरेश्वोर महादेवको दर्शन गर्नाले भक्तजनहरुको आशा पुरा हुने विस्वास छ । यो मन्दिर परिसरमा निकै प्राचिन देखिने ढुंगाका मुर्तिहरु देख्न सकिन्छ । मन्दीर परिसर भित्र पाटी, भजन मण्डली, पांच कुमारी धारा, बुद्ध स्तुपाहरु र अस्थाई प्रहरी चौकी रहेको छ ।

काठमाडौँबाट आशापुरी महादेव मन्दिर पुग्नको लागि दुइवटा बाटाहरु छन । एउटा बाटो साँगा भन्ज्यांगबाट दक्षिण लाग्छ भने अर्को बाटो डोलेश्वोर महादेवको मन्दिर बाट पाटी भन्ज्यांग हुदै पूर्व लाग्छ । जुनबाटो लागेपनि बाटोमा देखिने दृश्यहरुले काठमाडौँको कोलाहललाई बिर्साई दिन्छ ।

यो मन्दिरपरिसर निकै पवित्र राखिएको छ । मन्दिरको मुख्य परिसर भित्र जादा जुत्ता खोल्नु पर्ने, मोबाइल फोन अफ गर्नु पर्ने र त्यहाँ भित्रबाट तस्बिर लिन नपाइने नियम छ । यो मन्दिरमा श्रवण महिनाको सोमबार हरुमा र सनिवारका दिनहरुमा भक्तजनहरुको घुइचो लाग्दछ । मन्दिर वरिपरि पुजा सामग्री खरिद गर्न र खाजा खानको लागि प्रसस्त होटलहरु रहेका छन । प्राकृतिक सुन्दरताको बिचमा सजिएको यस आशापुरी महादेवको मन्दिरमा तपाई पनि आफ्नो नपुगेको आशा लिएर एकचोटी पक्कै जानु होला ।

Ashapuri Mahadev Temple is located at the junction of Kaveri river and Narmada river which flows along the border of Bhaktapur and Kavre districts. This temple is in a very picturesque place among the small hills of Sasana. It is believed that yoga meditation and sadhana have been practiced in this holy land since Treta Yuga. It is believed that visiting the Ashapureshwor Mahadev here will fulfill the hopes of the devotees. Very ancient-looking stone idols can be seen in this temple complex. Inside the temple premises, there is a Pati, Bhajan Mandali, Panch Kumari Dhara, Buddha stupas, and a temporary police station.

There are two ways to reach Ashapuri Mahadev Temple from Kathmandu. One road goes south from Sanga Bhanjang and the other road goes east from Doleshwor Mahadev temple via Pati Bhanjang. Even if you take the road, the scenery on the way makes you forget the noise of Kathmandu.

This temple complex is kept very holy. When entering the main premises of the temple, shoes must be taken off, mobile phones must be turned off, and photos must not be taken from inside. This temple is thronged by devotees on Mondays and Saturdays of the month of Shravan. Around the temple, there are good hotels to buy puja materials and have lunch.
