Api West (APIW) is a climbing peak in the Gurans mountain range of Byas municipality of Darchula district in Nepal. The mountain peak has an elevation of 7100m and can be located at latitude 30.0017 longitude 80.9256. The summit of Api West Peak offers stunning views of mount Api 7132m, Bobaye 6808m, Lasa 6189m, Lhayul Peak 6395m, Nampa, South 6180m, and more.
The region habitats vegetation of Pine and Hemlock forests, White Fir, Juniper, Birch and Rhododendron, scrub and alpine plant communities are common at the higher altitude. The park is home to the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Musk Deer, Himalayan Tahr, Marten, Himalayan Mouse Hare (Pika), and over 118 species of bird including the Impeyan Pheasant, Snow Cock, Blood Pheasant, and Red-billed Cough.
