World Tuberculosis Day

World TB day takes place on the 24th of March every year. This event is globally celebrated to raise awareness and understanding about the one of world’s deadliest infectious killer tuberculosis and its devastating causes in health, social life, and economic life. TB is considered to be one of the most common contagious infected diseases among people which spreads from a sneeze or lung cough. The number of infected people and the death ratio of people is somehow decreasing nowadays but still, there are so many people who are unaware of the preventives of TB and spread disease carelessly.  So in order to control that kind of problem and make people more aware and educated about the disease, this event is celebrated once a year. In Nepal also, many related and non-related organizations conduct various types of awareness programs on this day through which people become more conscious and preventive.
