Chandeshwori jatra is considered largest festival of Kavrepalanchowk district Nepal. It is three-day celebration. It is the celebration of Chandeshwori or Parvati, the Hindu goddess. This festival is celebrated and held in the honor of the victory over the demon Chandasur on the first full moon day of the New Year’s festival in the country.
