Banke National Park

Banke National Park is the protected area of Nepal which was established on 12th July 2010. BNP covers around 550 km of squares in the banke district. The banke national parks cover three districts of Nepal that are Banke, Salyan, and Dang.  Banke national park has 113 species of trees, 85 species of shrub and 107 species of herbal plant. The symbolic priority of the national park is the Sal tree and the axel woods. We can also find many endangered animals in the national park such as Bengal Tiger and one horn rhino. Banke national park also has 124  different plants, 34 mammals and more than 300 birds. There are 24 species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibian and 58 species of fishes. The national park is almost 90% covered from sal, karma, khair, and sissoo.
